To activate the airbag reset functions on your OBDSTAR G3, you must purchase the software license. The standard G3 tool does not include this feature by default, as it is a paid add-on module.
Features unlocked with the license:
After activating the software, your G3 will have the same SRS capabilities as the dedicated OBDSTAR P50 Airbag Reset Tool. These functions include:
- SRS Reset: Clear crash data and reset the airbag control module after a deployment or repair.
- BMS Reset: Perform battery calibration and reset after a replacement on supported models.
- SAS Reset: Adjust and calibrate the steering angle sensor for supported vehicles.
